‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ has taken the top position in this weekend's US domestic box office chart. is expected to collect more than $110 million in its debut weekend and has already grossed $51.7 million on Friday.
This makes it the biggest opening day collection of 2023. Spider-Man: Across The Spider-verse earned $17.3 million from preview screenings. The movie has earned significantly higher money in the Box office in comparison to Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse, which earned $35 million in its opening weekend.
However, Across The Spider-Verse has grossed less than $15 million in its first two days in the international market, which means the movie is not performing well outside America.
Speaking about Into the Spider-Verse, it earned $190 million in the US domestic market and collected $384 million from across the world. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse also won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature film.
